Favorite Ice Cream Flavors

Over the course of a week, I spent time gathering information about people’s favorite ice cream flavors. I personally asked about 100 people – ranging from close friends to people I haven’t spoken to in a year – the ultimate question: What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

After I got over 100 people to respond back to me, I made some interesting discoveries. This is a graph I created in order to give a visual representation of the data I collected. These are the 15 flavors that received at least two votes or more. Some flavors are general, while others may be specific to a brand or place.

Mint chocolate chip and cookie dough are at the top, tied with 19 people each! Honestly, I knew a lot of people loved cookie dough. Although it isn’t my favorite, I wasn’t surprised at how high it was. I didn’t realize how many people loved mint chocolate chip though! Coming after those was my personal all-time favorite, cookies & cream, followed by vanilla, and then chocolate. The top flavors happened to be the classics; this shows that you can simply never go wrong with tradition.

Melting With Maya

This is an interview I conducted with one of my longtime friends, Raven! I went to school with Raven from elementary school all the way through high school, and I knew she loved ice cream as much as I do. She was the perfect candidate for this interview! Here’s a short video where we talked about all things ice cream, including favorite flavors, brands and places, as well as a story about ice cream that’s sure to make your heart melt (no pun intended).
